Hotel overview

Nestled just off the highway near Sa Pobla in the Balearic Islands, this 5-star retreat offers a rare blend of tranquil countryside and convenient access to Mallorca’s stunning beaches. Set on a historic farm over 500 years old, the property preserves its agricultural heritage with olive groves, fig trees, and fragrant lavender fields that guests can explore along several maintained hiking trails.

The Lodge Mallorca impresses with spacious, comfortable rooms, some featuring private patios ideal for star-gazing or sunbathing. The outdoor pool stands out as a calm oasis with well-maintained surroundings and sweeping views of the rural landscape. Dining experiences focus on quality, local flavors, served at the on-site restaurant and seasonal special dinners in the lavender fields.

While the setting feels isolated, beaches like Platja de Muro and Alcudia are a short drive away, providing diverse options for swimming and water activities. Travelers appreciate the attentive, friendly staff and services such as airport shuttles and free parking, although those sensitive to insects should bring repellents. This blend of peaceful luxury and natural beauty make it a suitable getaway for relaxation and exploration.

Spacious Rooms Great Service Peaceful Atmosphere Outdoor Dining Experience Proximity to Beaches Some Mosquito Presence

“What an amazing place. Peaceful and luxurious — inland from the beaches, but these are easily accessible with a short drive and the isolation adds to the experience. Amazing views even though the resort does overlook the highway. A UNESCO site being a preserved farm from over 500 years ago — definitely recommend hiking up through the old olive groves (take the red trail — one of three the hotel maintains on site). The pool is exceptional, peaceful, and well-serviced. No overcrowding to worry about and amazing views over the property. The rooms are spacious, isolated (aside from a few in the main building), and relaxing. Ours had a private patio for star-gazing, drinks, and sun-bathing. The only drawback was mosquitoes — I definitely recommend packing bug spray, but the hotel also has some available.”

“I enjoyed my 4 day and 4 night stay at the Lodge. The service was exceptional, the concierge was very available and attentive via WhatsApp, and provided great recommendations for drivable beaches and restaurant recommendations which I appreciated very much! The food was also exceptionally delicious. Although it is a shame you cannot eat by the pool. Every night the staff would leave a different chocolate, lavender from the garden, or handmade lotion which was a nice touch. It is a luxury hotel, but there are a few things worth noting ahead of time. It is located off of a highway which is very unclear in the photos and description of the hotel. You cannot really hear the highway from the hotel, but it does look out on it and it is a large part of the view for your stay, and there are better views in Mallorca. Additionally, the Lodge is marketed as a wellness resort but the gym is close to nothing. It’s outdoor with 3 cardio machines and 1 bench with weights, it was disappointing. The sauna is located in the spa area which is also quite small and needs updating because it’s cracked in many areas. The trails around the hotel are also extremely short and not challenging at all. The hardest route took 20 mins max, more of a walk. This was also disappointing. Overall, the food, service, cleanliness and comfortability of the rooms make up for it creating a relaxing environment.”

“We stayed here over a short weekend for our mini-moon. The stay was nothing short of exceptional. We didn't really leave the hotel, so made the most of the amenities on offer. The restaurant was extensive for lunch and dinner. The breakfast selection was superb. There is a dinner that is hosted in the Lavender field every Saturday. We were lucky enough to be able to experience it which was fantastic. We loved our stay here. Cannot wait to return. Also, having read some of the negative reviews. I'm genuinely shocked. We have had the privilege of travelling the world, staying in 5 star hotels and this was up there. It's pretty disgusting that people go out of their way to leave such poor reviews, when clearly the hotel including it's staff make a huge effort to make sure the experience is top tier. If you have an issue deal with it directly and not on a platform like this which can have such a negative impact on someone's business. Avoid these negative reviews, they no idea what they are talking about!”

“We had a great stay at the Lodge! It‘s a truly stunning hotel! Service was top notch and always super friendly. Breakfast was very good and until 11 which we highly appreciated. I had a massage at the spa which is small but very clean and to be honest just the right size for the hotel. Overall, we can only recommend The Lodge as we had amazing few days there and we will be back!”
